Not a Happy Easter for Family of Anjelica Hadsell

Apr 5, 2015

While a happy Easter for most, the family of missing student Anjelica Hadsell somberly awaits word of the most recent effort to locate the girl, or at least her bodily remains.

Following a brand new tip in the troubling case, divers are currently searching a small pond in Carrsville Virginia, deepening suspicions that the college freshman met a sad end at the hands of her very own parent.

That murky body of water is situated some 40 miles from the missing teen’s home in Norfolk, VA.

It has become a focal point this weekend ever since a local confirmed seeing the work-truck of 36-year-old Wesley Hadsell suspiciously driving around in the area at the time of his stepdaughter’s sudden disappearance on March 2, 2015.

Earlier searches in another remote and swampy coastal region ominously produced some personal articles of the missing girl, but no other clues about her disappearance or present whereabouts.

Although officials claim Wesley Hadsell is “not a suspect” yet, he’s been in police custody without bond for the past two weeks, after breaking into a house where his stepdaughter was rumored to frequent and then tampering with evidence he either found or placed there.

A former convict with a lengthy list of convictions, inmate Hadsell is also facing obstruction of justice and weapons charges in connection to those latest parole violations.

He’s also said to have a history of violence and admitted to punching a dog in the head at the residence he’d broken into.

Meanwhile, the rest of Anjelica Hadsell’s loved ones are spending a not so happy Easter close to home and by their phones today, hoping for the best but fearing for the worse.

Foul play is now strongly believed to be the reason their young lady vanished without a trace over a month ago, and why she continues to remain completely off the radar.
