Man Celebrated Birthday with Crime Spree

Apr 13, 2015

Birthday boy Ronald Anderson celebrated his 48th year on the planet this month with a two-hour crime spree that began with a kidnapping and ended in murder.

Maryland officials say his felonious festivities were launched last Thursday at around six in the evening when he pulled up to the White House complex and snatched his girlfriend off the street at gunpoint.

With his frightened significant other in tow, Anderson then proceeded to gun down a security guard at the nearby Census Bureau, who later died from bullets wounds.

Then the suspect sped away again, this time attracting the attention of the Washington police and leading them on a high-speed chase in which he exchanged more gunfire, wounding yet another officer in the melee.

This would be the final phase of Anderson’s berserk birthday bash, however -- it landed him in the hospital in critical condition, although his girlfriend, who was in the car for most of the hell-ride, was said to be unharmed.

The couple was the subject of a domestic dispute in February, investigators revealed, and at that time the responding officer noted the woman had been injured.

Not surprisingly, Ronald Anderson is no stranger to crime and violence. He has a criminal past that dates as far back as 1991 when he was arrested and charged with manslaughter and later pled guilty.

Court records show he’s also pleaded guilty to various other crimes throughout the years, including (but not limited to) drug possession, simple assault and, of course, reckless driving.

Apart from celebrating life in the brutal manner to which he’s grown accustomed, it’s not exactly clear what triggered Anderson’s criminality on this particular occasion.

Whatever the reason, though, he’ll be spending the rest of his birthdays in prison.
