Missing woman Kajavia Globe (below) was found dead this week, days after a suspect wearing a skeleton mask and driving her car used the 24-year-old’s bank cards at a drive-thru ATM.
Detroit police responded to a call on Monday about a deceased young female found in a backyard on Fielding Street.
The body has since been confirmed as that of Ms. Globe by her family, based on personal items discovered at the scene.
A positive ID by a medical examiner took several more days, although the missing woman’s cause of death hasn’t been disclosed yet.
Investigators expressed little doubt, however, that Kajavia Globe -- who vanished earlier in December -- had been a victim of foul play and are seeking the public’s help in solving this crime ASAP.
