Another Cleveland Ohio man -- this one a trucker -- is America’s latest outed serial killer.
Robert Rembert was indicted this week on over two-dozen criminal counts related to a series of kidnappings, rapes and murders he allegedly began back in the late 1990s.
The 45-year-old was arrested last month for the gruesome killing of Kimberly Hall, 31, whose body he allegedly dumped this spring in a field just outside Cleveland city limits.
DNA taken at the crime scene allowed homicide detectives to trace the suspect back to a similar deadly assault on a 47-year-old woman at a bus terminal in 1997.
Coincidentally, Robert Rembert was a bus driver that same year.
He’s also being held in connection with three killings perpetrated in 2015, including the shooting death of one of his own relatives.
Rembert has served about six years in prison already for an unrelated manslaughter charge -- the accused serial killer remains jailed today on $1-million bond and could face the death penalty if convicted.
