Buffalo Bills Coach Arrested for Rampage and Death Threat (Florida)

Jul 12, 2015

The Buffalo Bills coach arrested today for his violent rampage and death threats against three children fishing at a public beach has been charged for misdemeanor battery.

Offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, 48, went off the deep end on Sunday because of the boys' “use of beach chairs,” according to a police report.

“Victims told deputies Kromer grabbed their fishing pole and threw the pole into the water and then pushed one of the boys to the ground and punched him in the face,” their statement read.

Afterwards, Kromer allegedly ordered the trio to put the chairs back where they found them and then warned the child he just assaulted that he’d “kill his family” if the kid reported him to authorities.

The out-of-bounds Buffalo Bills coach was arrested and booked for the crime shortly thereafter, then released around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning, after posting bond.

It’s Kromer’s first season with this particular NFL club, but, as things stand at the moment, it may very well be his last -- with any pro-football team, for that matter.

“We are aware of the report and in the process of gathering the facts,” a spokesman for the Bills said, in a statement concerning the incident released earlier today.

Several football players at both professional and college levels have similarly made headlines this year for committing acts of violence off the field. Aaron Kromer, however, is believed to be the game’s only offender coach.
