PHOTOS: A cross-dressing Chinese man who drugged and mugged at least six males he lured through online dating sites has been charged with fraud and theft for his weird crime spree.
Police in China said they didn’t know the attractive female suspect they arrested for enticing men to hotel rooms to rob them was actually a man himself, until the 48-year-old took off his disguise during booking.
The cross-dressing hairdresser used the internet handle “Black Rose” to dupe his dates into meeting him at intimate settings, whereupon he slipped them sleeping pills and made off with their money and valuables.
He was finally caught for the scheme after choosing the wrong victim -- a 22-year-old youth with a good eye who was able to give police the detailed description they had been lacking.
Detectives thought, however, that the case involved a beautiful and bold con-woman, and were obviously shocked once they got their man.
