Robert Anthony Phillips is a New York City-based reporter specializing in death-penalty and criminal-justice issues. He is a former program editor and senior writer for, the all-crime Internet news site, where he traveled the United States covering executions, interviewing death-row inmates and writing about death-penalty issues.
