Charles Hustmyre Charles Hustmyre has been a law enforcement officer since 1981 and an ATF special agent since 1991. He is a recipient of ATF's Hostile Action Award and the Distinguished Service Medal for rescuing a wounded agent during a shootout. During his career he has been assigned to the New Orleans Police Department's Violent Offender Warrant Squad, the FBI Gang Task Force, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, and the ATF/NOPD Safe Home Task Force -- a specialized unit targeting violent crime in public housing.
