A 21-year-old woman who recently revealed on Facebook that she was “being stalked” by a rival has been found dead in her vehicle of a gunshot wound.
Police in Virginia responded to a 911 call early Monday morning from a rural Spotsylvania property owner about an “unconscious woman” slumped at the wheel of her car.
When officers arrived they discovered Heather Ciccone was in fact already deceased.
She had been shot in the back of the skull and the killer then apparently parked her car at that address, because the victim otherwise had no known connection to the individuals who live there.
Ciccone’s family has since revealed she was receiving actual “death threats” this December; allegedly from an unidentified female suspect angry over “a man” with whom both were romantically involved.
“I swear this b**ch has no f***ing life,” read one of Heather Ciccone’s final Facebook updates.
Her sister urged her to press “harassment and stalking charges” in a reply beneath that posting: “She has plenty of [threatening messages] and her saying she's been ‘stalking’ the house wanting to cause harm,” Courtney Ciccone reminded.
The violent death of Heather Ciccone roughly a week later -- after having been summoned Sunday night to aid a friend whose car broke down -- has been ruled a homicide, and police are investigating the harassment claims.
